Micro Finance Exploitation on Beneficiaries

Paralakhemumdi:When corona pandemic shattered daily livelihoods of hand-to-mouth families due to lack of income and earnings, a private micro finance Institute be seized to collect loan repayment. Second phase of corona after lock down and shut down degraded those vulnerable families. Meanwhile that Institute compelled to collect at Batagauda street of Paralakhemumdi.

This noticed before an youth activist, who knocked at Model Police Station.lmmediately police rushed to spot & warned those staff on forceful collections.

As a result those staff returned back. Not only at Batagauda street but also in other areas of town they vehemently collecting repayment of loan. With high interest they use to collect such loan which uppished their liabilities. Henceforth those beneficiaries decided to knock at SP & Collector Gajapati if further they disturbed.
