MERCURY RISES IN ODISHA BOLANGIR WITH 41.5°C

BHUBANESWAR:Seven places in Odisha have registered temperature above 40 degree Celsius with Bolangir being the hottest with 41.5 degree C on Tuesday.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest bulletin said that the temperature remained above 40 degrees C with Bhubaneswar (41.2), Talcher (41.1), Sonepur (41.0), Angul (40.5), Boudh (40.5) and Nayagarh (40.0).
Besides, a Yellow Warning has been issued by the IMD for Wednesday. Thunderstorm with lightning and accompanied by gusty surface wind up to 40kmph is expected to occur at Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak districts.
The IMD has also predicted thunderstorm with lightning at Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Keonjhar and Jajpur districts.
