“ MEIN KANPURWALA” – VIKAS DUBEY SHORT DEAD IN AN ENCOUNTER

ROURKELA,10/07/20:The notorious gangster who had killed eight police men eight days before is short dead by UP Police this morning when he was brought to Kanpur by a Scorpio to produce in court.
As per the sources, he was yesterday arrested near Mahakal Mandir ,Ujjain in MP at around 8am. He was the most wanted gangster and was involved in more than 60 killings and other illegal affairs.He was a powerful man in UP and was staying in Kanpur.
After the ambush he and his team had made eight days back, where eight police men were killed under a strategic plan. Then they flee from the spot. He was on run since then and was caught in CCTV camera in Noida two days back and finally approached MP covering long distance avoiding police checking.
Yesterday he was initially traced by a local security guard of the temple and then MP police nabbed him.
Anyways, this is a matter of investigation and UP police with forensic team is now investigating the matter and the body was sent to the hospital where it is kept for post-mortem and other medical investigation.
Very soon UP police is going to give a press briefing on this encounter. The vehicle in which he was travelling is overturned and he was trying to flee from the spot. Few police men who were accompanying are also injured as per the news sources. After the incident of policemen who were killed by Vikash Dubey, UP police has encountered Vikash Dubey’s few close aides who were on run and this killing is definitely raised questions on UP police’s action.
According to reports, one of the vehicles of the convoy of Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) was bringing back gangster Vikas Dubey from Madhya Pradesh to Kanpur overturned after skidding on the road due to heavy rains.
Taking the advantage,Vikas Dubey snatched a gun from an injured STF policeman and ran. The police team caught up and surrounded him and tried to get him to surrender, but he deny and started firing on Cop. The police had to fire back in self-defence,” .”Vikas Dubey was injured and taken to hospital. He died during treatment,” said the statement.
