Mega Plantation Drive at Utkal Alumina under Employees Social Volunteerism Program: Nurturing a Greener Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar/Tikiri: 5th Aug 2023 – In itscontinuous endeavor towards environment & sustainability, Utkal Alumina International Limited, a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries Limited of Aditya Birla Group had conducted a plantation drive on 5th August 2023 at itsperiphery villages and R&R (Resettlement and Rehabilitation) colonies under Employee Social Volunteerism Program.
This event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of Utkal Alumina’s employees, including Senior Management, Graduate Engineer Trainees, Diploma Engineer Trainees, and Inmates of RR Colony and community members, all of whom united for a common cause and planted more than 500 saplings.
The event was graced by senior leaders of Utkal Alumina Mr. Kausikisharan Misra (Head of Operations), Mr. Bijay Kumra (Unit HR Head), Colonel Pawan Pal Singh (Head of Security & Admin), and Smt. Lopamudra Mishra (HeadCSR&CR). Their presence and volunteering symbolizethe company’s dedication to a greener future and community wellbeing.
