Mega Blood Donation Camp held at Colliery Police Station

Talcher:A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by Talcher Sub Divisional Police administration at colliery police station, Talcher. The Sub Divisional Police Officer ,Nitesh Wadhwani IPS,inaugurated the camp and said donation of blood is a noble cause for everyone, because a drop of blood may save a life at the time of need. Periodically donation of blood keeps a man fit and healthy. He donated the first unit of blood in this camp and welcome all the police personnel and staffs, other blood donors for this noble cause. It will solve the need of the patients of S.D. Hospital, Talcher upon which the needy patients from Pallahara, Kamakhyanagar, Talcher and part of Angul will be hugely benefitted. By organizing such a noble Programme by police administration is very much appreciated and encouraged the camp organizers of this locality to organize camps in their areas. Blood donors around the sub division, CISF personnel, Constables, Home Guards, Security Guards   came to the camp and donated blood with courage. The camp started from 9.30 am and with the help of the staffs of ODISHA BLOOD BANK, S.D.Hospital, Talcher ( 115 ) one hundred fifteen units of blood were collected. Camp organizer Balaram Pati, social activist Khirod Sahu, IIC of Talcher PS. Satyabrata Rout,S.I. of police, Bikram Bhuyan, SI.Gobind Chandra Sahu, SI. Prasant Sethi were present to encourage and serve the donors. IIC of Colliery Police Station Sabyasachi Rout co ordinated the camp.
