Massive Fire Breaks at Sack Factory of Bargarh in Odisha

Bargarh,(09/02/26):A massive fire broke out at a sack manufacturing factory in the Bardol area of Bargarh district in Odisha on Monday, causing panic among local residents and engulfing the entire vicinity in thick plumes of smoke.
The sudden blaze created a tense situation as flames rapidly spread across the factory premises.
The blaze, which erupted in the factory located on the outskirts of Bargarh town in the afternoon, sparked panic among locals as thick smoke engulfed the entire area following the incident.
While no one was reported to have been hurt, a huge quantity of materials stored in the factory was destroyed in the blaze. Factory workers and employees had a narrow escape as they swiftly moved out of the premises after the fire erupted.
Sources said the fire spread rapidly due to the presence of highly inflammable raw materials stored inside the factory.
On being informed, fire service personnel rushed to the spot and at least five fire tenders were pressed into service to combat the inferno. Fire-fighters encountered a tough time in controlling the blaze as thick smoke enveloped the entire area.
