MAO LINK DETECTED; KALAHANDI POLICE RECEIVED CREDIBLE SUCCESS

Kalahandi:On 07.03.2022 Kalahandi Police received credible information that one Kabi @ Prabin Kumar Rout (49) S/o-Prafulla Kumar Rout of Lanjigarh Road was planning to provide communication devices to the naxals .
On getting this information, PS staff immediately proceeded to the spot to verify the information. In the out skirts of village Lanjigarh Road Police team detained Kabi @ Prabin Kumar Rout (49) S/o-Prafulla Kumar Rout, Pratidan Rout (20) S/o-Prabin Kumar Rout both of village Lanjigarh Road, PS-Narla, Dist-Kalahandi and Shaktisamanta Dalabehera (29) S/o-Aruna Kumar Dalabehera of vill. Badakera PS. Bantala, Dist. Angul At/Pr-Lanjigarh Road, PS-Narla, Dist-Kalahandi who were moving suspiciously.
On enquiry it was revealed that they planned to deliver two walki-talkies (communication devide) to Maoists of KKBN Division. On 07.03.2022 as per their plan they were proceeding to deliver the same to the Maoists of KKBN Division but got intercepted by the Police Party.
They were searched and 2 brand new walkie-talkies were recovered from their exclusive pocession.
During enquiry it was revealed that Kabi @ Prabin Kumar Rout (49) is a sympathizer and supporter of the Maoists of KKBN division and have acted as a active militia member providing logistics. Earlier Kabi @ Prabin Kumar Rout (49) has assisted Maoists to raise funds, collect arms, explosive material, communication devices, harbours and facilitates the Maoists in their illegal activities in association with other people.
Under the above fact and circumstances these accused persons have been arrested and a case vide Narla PS case No-30 dtd. 07.03.2022 U/s 121/121(A)/122/123/34 IPC R/W sec 17/18/19/20 of UAP Act R/W sec 17 of CRLA Act 1908 has been registered.Firther investigation is continuing.
