Paralakhemundi:Gajapati district administration taken coincidence to promote livelihoods at Manikapatna. OLM with ORMAS by the instructions of Collector Gajapati district ,Lingaraj Panda,started survey for those primitive tribal group.Cashew producers group, Goat rearing unit & poultry farming initiated. Goat rearing as one cluster & cashew producers group will be supported by OLM & monitored by ORMAS. Mo upakari bagicha to avail daily vegetables for those villagers will be streamlined. By support of ITDA, poultry chicks will be supported to 44 families. This will enhance their livelihoods. Staff of OLM, ORMAS & ITDA were present to coordinate with villagers. This somehow will bring mainstreaming to those on-farm & off-farm activities for backward community of Gangabada panchayat.
