Major Road Mishap; One Spot One Critical in Koraput

Koraput,(Jeypore): In a major break through a man died while another man sustained critical injuries as the car, they were travelling in collided head-on with a pick-up van near Chatarala under Borigumma police limits in Koraput police district on Tuesday.
According to police the deceased man has been identified as Santosh Panda (40), a resident of Kotpad area.
Sources said,Santost along with his friend Ranjit Panda were going to Koraput from Kotpad when their car collided with a pick-up van coming from opposite direction near Chatarala. Both of them were rushed to Saheed Laxman Nayak Hospital in critical condition where the doctor declared Santosh brought dead.
On being informed, the police rsuh to the hospital and initiated a probe into the matter.But the driver of the pick-up van managed to flee from spot.
