Mahak Program for Rehabilitated Children by DCPU

Paralakhemundi-At Biju Kalyan Mandap of Paralakhemundi ‘Mahak’ program organized. From 4 rehabilitation centres those boarding children participated on various competitions that held on the eve of ‘Mahak’ program. District Sessions Judge Pranab Kumar Routray graced as chief guest. He blessed those children to fulfill their cherished goal.
Among others ADM (Revenue) Birendra Kumar Das & Chairman of CWC Aswini Kumar Mahapatra graced as guests of honor.
They too accomplished those children for their innovation creativities. Inmates from Nisaan Salem, Day Star Home, Sri Jagannath Niketan & Jarau rehabilitation centres of Gajapati district participated. Song, painting, debate, dance, quiz competitions held.
Incidentally ex-MP of Brahmapur cum popular film star Sidhant Mahapatra joined the show to inspire those children. He also shared with them on song & dance. Children too happy to see such a star beside them.
At closing ceremony various guests eg, Juvenile Justice Board Chairman Satyabrata Rana,Sub Collector Alok Kumar Pradhan,DSSO Santosh Kumar Nayak, DCO Archana Mangaraj were present as guests. They gave prizes to those winners.Selected winners will represent state level competitions at Bhubaneswar. Staff of DCPU,rehabilitation centres & CCD organization coordinated the program.
