Paralakhemundi: Historical Mahendragiri besieged for epic Ramayan where every year more than lakhs devotees visiting on Maha Sivratri.
They usually arrive one day before of Sivratri and see Sunrise also offer pray which is a tradition to get blessings from Almighty.
But due to fearsome corona gimmick Gajapati district administration taken stand not to allow any devotees to enter Mahendragiri other than priests are allowed to perform their rituals at Mahendragiri hills.
All connecting roads to Mahendragiri will be sealed. For safety of public from expected endemic situation this year on Maha Sivaratri, district administration taken such remedial measures.
