LECTURER IN VIGILANCE NET FOR DISPROPORTIONATE ASSETS (!).

BERHAMPUR:A lecturer in Gajapati district landed in Vigilance net on charges of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The Vigilance sleuths of Berahampur Division conducted raids at residences of G. Nageswar Rao, a lecturer of Minaketan College at Gurandi in Gajapati district, in Paralakhemundi, Gajapati and neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.
Today the sleuths on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Nageswar the Officers made simultaneous searches conducted at his Residence at Radhagovindanagar,2nd lane,Paralakhemundi,Residence of his father at Badabrahmin Sahi, Paralakhemundi, Market complex at Betaguda,Parlakhemundi,Paternal house at Village Burujang, under Rayagada PS limits in Gajapati, Father-in-law’s house located at Village,Chipurpali under Meliaputi PS limits Dist. Srikakulam(AP) and Office at Minaketan degree College, Gurandi.
Anil Patra,SP Vigilance said, that our anti-corruption officials have recovered Rs 31 lakh cash during the raids. The lecturer also possesses a house worth over Rs 2 crore, luxury cars and he has many accounts in banks. The value of his assets will be calculated after raids.
