LBSNAA Director Sriram Taranikanti Reviews Innovative District Schemes in Ganjam

 Chatrapur,( 7/3/2026): Sriram Taranikanti, Director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, visited Ganjam district today to review the implementation of various public welfare schemes.

During his visit, he attended a meeting at the Sadbhavana Conference Hall of the Collector’s Office in Chhatrapur. He assessed the functioning of schemes related to Agriculture and Farmer Empowerment, Health and Family Welfare, Public Works, Women and Child Development, Labour and Employee State Insurance, Tourism, Odia Language, Literature and Culture, and Berhampur Municipal Corporation, among others.

 He also engaged in detailed discussions with district officials about the ground-level implementation of Central Government schemes. He reviewed the work culture of field-level officers and the participation of citizens in development programs.

Ganjam Collector V. Keerthi Vasan briefed the Director on initiatives including public grievance redressal, the Lakshya Niketan training program for civil service aspirants, and the environmental campaign “Prakruti Pain Pratigya”. Appreciating the district administration’s innovative efforts, Taranikanti commended the proactive governance.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Magistrates Dr. Pramod Kumar Prusti and Debadatta Panda, Berhampur Sub-Collector Avinash Kumar, Joint Director,Gopabandhu Administrative Academy,DebakalyanBehera, Berhampur Divisional Forest Officer Sunny Khokhar, and other departmental officials.
