LADY TEACHER OF ENGLISH MEDIUM QUESTIONED FOR MISBEHAVING WITH GIRL STUDENT

Berhampur:A woman teacher of a privately-run school in Baidyanathpur area in Ganjam district was detained by the police for allegedly misbehaving with a girl student.
According to sources, the accused teacher allegedly took away leggings of a Class I girl student for not wearing proper uniform as the girl student was wearing a white frock with black leggings.
Irked over the school dress code violation i.e. white uniform on Saturdays, the teacher reprimanded the Class I girl student before taking away her black leggings.
Later, the girl narrated the same to her father following which the girl’s parent lodged a police complaint.
Acting on the complaint, cops detained the teacher for questioning. However, later the police allowed the woman teacher to go, B. Pati,SDPO said.
