GANJAM:Kshetramohan Science Degree College, Narendrapur, Ganjam, Odisha(Affiliated to Berhampur University) organized an International Webinar in association with Indian Economic Association(IEA) on Monday at 04:00 PM on the topic “ IMPACT OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON MSME SECTOR”.
The Webinar was inaugurated by Prof. Pulin B. Nayak, Former Director of Delhi School of Economics.
The key speakers were; Prof. Chandan Jha, Madden School of Business, Syracuse, NewYork, USA, Prof. Santosh Kumar Sahu, IIT Madras, Tamilnadu, Mr. Bhuban Mohanty, Joint Director of Industry Department, Govt. of Odisha. The speakers highlighted the problems and challenges faced by MSME sector during the pandemic and suggested some policy measures to overcome the challenges.Dr. B. P. Chandra Mohan, General Secretary of IEA delivered a special address and highlighted the objectives of IEA. Dr. Sushanta Kumar Mishra, the Principal of KMSc College welcomed the guest and participants to the international webinar. The Webinar was coordinated by Dr. Sandhya Rani Das, PG Department of Economics, Berhampur University, Odisha and Joint Secretary of IEA and assisted by Dr. Satish Prasad Nayak, Dr. Dhanalaxmi Pattnaik, Dr. Gokulananda Patro and Miss. Meenakshi Dash to make the webinar a grand success. Lastly, Mr. Bupaatii C. Sahu, Principal of KMSc Degree College offered vote of thanks. More than 120 faculty members, Research Scholars and students participated in this webinar.
