Koraput Dist Municipal Engineer Under Vigilance Scanner; Raids On At 6 Places

Bhubaneswar : Officials of the Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday took up simultaneous raids at places linked to Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Jeypore Block & in-charge Municipal Engineer, Jeypore Municipality, Biswanath Patro for alleged possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

These simultaneous raids are being conducted by vigilance teams that include 1 additional SP, 2 DSPs, 8 inspectors, 6 ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge Vigilance, Jeypore.

The raids are on at 6 places in Jeypore, Ganjam and Bhubaneswar.

The raids are continuing at:

1) Triple-storey building located at Jeypore .

2) Two-storey building at Paternal land Koli Sahi, Belaguntha, Ganjam.

3) Office chamber of Patro at Jeypore block.

4) His office chamber at Jeypore Municipality.

5) Office chamber of his spouse at DIET, Jeypore.

6) House of his relative located at Niladri Vihar (Patia), Bhubaneswar.
