KEJRIWAL TAKES OATH AS DELHI CM AIMING TOWARDS CORDIAL NATIONAL POLITICS

Bureau,Odishabarta

Delhi:Radio-advertisements prior to taking oath and post-oath speech of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is indicative of his aiming towards cordial national politics when he avoided inviting heavyweight politicians including Chief Ministers from non-BJP parties, because these non-BJP political parties may themselves be political rivals of Aam Admi Party in time to come.

It was indeed a welcome invitation to Prime Minister for oath-taking ceremony by Arvind Kejriwal subsequently seeking his blessings in his speech for upliftment of Delhi with joint efforts of Union and Delhi government. It depicts that Arvind Kejriwal wishes to revive politics of yesteryears of days of veterans like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Piloo Modi etc. rather than politics of confrontation. On the other side top BJP leadership not only admitted bitter words for their defeat, but also warned their party-men to exercise restraint in their speeches.

It should be hoped that central and Delhi government under leadership of their respective political rulers will pave way for a cordial politics with other regional parties (and may be perhaps even Congress) forced to merge with either of the ruling party at the Centre or Delhi.
