Kalahandi Crime – Inter Dist.Docaits’ arrested by Koksara Police

KALAHANDI:On the intervening night of 25.12.2020, unknown culprits committed dacoity from the house of Jajati Prakash Pattjoshi of village Moter, breaking the grill and main entrance forcibly. The culprits assaulted the inmates and also threatened to kill at the point of fire arm and deadly weapons. The culprits looted gold ornaments about 40 Bhari, one Bullet motorcycle , one LED Samsung TV, two mobile phones and cash of Rs.2000/- from the spot house.
Koksara Police investigated the case in case no.286/2020 sincerely and used scientific team as well as technical analysis to find out the unknown culprits. Three accused persons are Bapi @ Bapina Behera (26) of village Baunsakina PS-Bhuban Dist- Dhenkanal, Dipu @Deepak Kumar Shaw (24) of village- Badbyasa, Rourkela PS-Brahmani Taran.Sundargarh. Suraj Kumar Majhi (25) of village Bandopala PS-Titlagarh,Balangir, are arrested and forwarded to the court.
Gold ornaments, Bullet M/C, Samsung TV, Mobile phones worth of more than Rs. 9,00,000/- recovered. Besides the Bolero vehicle used by the culprits and 02 mobile phones were seized during investigation. Special teams of police officers have been formed to arrest the other culprits as well as the recovery of rest gold ornaments. All the culprits of this group found to be involved in series of cases of Kalahandi, Rayagada, Jajpur, Dhenkanal and Sundargarh districts.
Further investigation underway to arrest other accused persons as told by Kalahandi S.P. Shravan Vivek. IPS. He appreciated the action taken by Koksara Police and team.
