Junior Red Cross Orientation Programme held at Nandapur

Sunabeda: dt: 15/09/23: A Block level Junior Red Cross Counsellors Orientation Programme has been organised at Govt High School of Nandapur.
The programme was presided over by Nandapur Block Education Officer Bhabani Nandan Patnaik .Medical Officer of Nandapur Community Heath Centre Dr.Drubraj Murmu attended the programme as the Chief Guest. District Junior Red Cross Officer Jagneswar Panda and Additional Block Education Officer Mamtaz Gamango graced the occasion as the Guests of Honour. Counselors of Nandapur and Lamtaput Blocks were briefed on the biography of founder of Red Cross, origin of Red Cross, origin of Junior Red Cross, need of volunteers in contemporary society.
On this occasion, JRC District Resource Person Shaheda Parween highlighted the implementation of Junior Red Cross at the school level while Sujith Kumar Naik informed about disaster management and Harekrishna Maharana gave an active discussion on techniques of First Aid.
The programme was coordinated by the senior science teacher Pradeep Kumar Tripathy while JRC coordinator of Nandapur block Prasanna Kumar Dash delivered the welcome speech. Finally, Lamtaput Block Coordinator Ravi Narayan Samal gave vote of thanks. School teachers Aarti Jena, Snigdarani Raut, Shivani rani Khara, Seema Kadam and school staff Jagdish Chandra Khara assisted in conducting the programme.
