Sambalpur:On the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets by the S.O. Sri Rabindra Kumar Mohanty, Junior Clerk, Puintala Block, Dist- Bolangir and his wife Smt. Meghamala Pattanaik (1) Residential rented house of Sri Rabindra Kumar Mohanty, Junior Clerk, Puintala Block, Dist- Bolangir located at Sagarpada Bolangir Town, Dist- Bolangir, (2) residential rented house of Smt. Meghamala Pattnaik, W/o. Sri Rabindra Kumar Mohanty located at Tusura Town, Dist- Bolangir, (3)residential house of Smt. Meghamala Pattnaik located at Village- Dungripali Dahimal under Gudbella Block, Dist- Bolangir, (4) office chamber of Sri Rabindra Kumar Mohanty located at Puintala Block Office, Dist- Bolangir, (5) office chamber of Smt. Meghamala Pattnaik located at Govt. Nodal U.P. School, Dahimal under Gudvella Block, Dist- Bolangir were simultaneously searched today i.e. on 07.08.2021 by the Officers of Vigilance Sambalpur Division, Sambalpur on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bolangir to find out assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
During search, the following movable and immovable assets found in possession of Sri Rabindra Kumar Mohanty, Junior Clerk, Puintala Block, Dist- Bolangir and his wife Smt. Meghamala Pattanaik, Asst. Teacher Govt. Nodal U.P. School, Dahimal under Gudvella Block, Dist- Bolangir in their names and in the name of their family members traced so far are as follows:-
Immovable assets like one triple storey building, two double storey building, 09 nos. of plot at Bolangir District worth of Rs. 1,07,58,610.00.
Besides the above, movable assets like, costly household articles, furniture’s, electrical/electronic gadgets, gold ornaments worth Rs.18,23,944.00, one Travera Car, one Mahindra Bolero, one Bullet Motor Cycle, one Hero Honda Passion Pro Motor Cycle, one Power Tiller with trolly worth Rs.19,35,920.00, deposits in different Banks Rs.15,09,449.00 and hard cash of Rs.8,06,700.00 etc. have been detected.
The total movable and immovable assets so far detected during house search is calculated at Rs.1,68,34,623.00 (One crore sixty eight lakhs thirty four thousand six hundred and twenty three) only approximately. Besides premium deposits in various insurance companies amounting to Rs.13,33,881.00 has been traced. The total movable and immovable assets worth Rs.1,81,68,504.00 (Rs.1,68,34,623.00 + Rs.13,33,881.00).
