JOINT RAID BY GANJAM & GAJAPATI POLICE,EXCISE ALSO JOINED

GAJAPATI,(Mohana):Kingpins of country liquor preparation & trading were under current at Gajapati & Ganjam border. With an information gathered & joint action of both Police & Excise departments authorities operation stormed at Gaudagotha for long hours.In presence of Executive Magistrate-cum-Tehsildar of Sorada Rabindra Kumar Mishra & Deputy Superintendent of Excise of Ganjam Abhiram Behera with joint force of both Police & Excise raided at Gaudagotha.At that time they seized 5780 litres of ID liquor & 13350 litres of ghur based wash with huge distillation supplement requisites & strangulated 10 persons including 6 females who were busy on processing of such liquor.On such massive raid by the instruction of Superintendent of Ganjam Brijesh Rai, Tapan Patnaik and Gajapati Excise Pradeep Kumar Panigrahi staff of Gajapati Excise also joined.
During raid SI of RUdayagiri of Gajapati Padma Charan Sahu,SI Brundaban Mandal,SI Chandrasekhar Padhiari, Kishore Rath ASI,Moji Sabar ASI,Ramesh Sahukar ASI were present during joint raiding. This operation indeed a commendable action against those liquor baron which too needed mostly due to pandemic time to rescue health & hazards of poor & innocent families to save their lives.Learneds too gripping this may go on time to time & even too ransack regularly those ganza den area roots from where massive scale being transported in interstate level.
