JCB Seized at Reserved Forest in Gajapati

Paralakhemundi:As an illegal venture under Devagiri forest range of Gajapati district,at Ullikota reserve forest, one deeper & two jcbs, while engaged on digging, seized. Villagers informed to forest staff on such illegal venture. Immediately led by Saroj Kumar Behera,Range Officer with his staff reached at spot & asked the engaged persons related to work order. Due to lack of any documents, immediately he instructed to stop the excavated work & seized all machines those engaged.
Though the work under DRDA continued, but those contractor could not furnish documents for which provisional work stopped & those entrusted vehicles seized, says Behera.
