Jaydev Birthday Observed in Gajapati

Paralakhemundi:At SKCGCollege auditorium birthday of Poet Jaydev observed. Presided by Principal Dr. Ajay Kumar Tripathy, ADM Sangramsekhar Panda graced as chief guest. As chief speaker Dr. Kulamani Ojha briefed on life history of the poet & his contributions on “Gitagobinda”.Indeed that was his contributions during king dynasty period who were loving such melodies.
So need for youths to empower as research on his literature,he added. Chief guest Panda quipped versatility of such genius who stamped his rhythms through his songs.
District Culture Officer Archana Mangaraj,too, added as his script as feather cap to Odia literature.Among students Priya Pradhan & Rasmita quipped on Jaydev contributions. Soudagar Sia welcomed the guests.Dr. Chandrashekhar Das coordinated the program. Lecturer Arjun Jena conveyed vote of thanks.
Teachers,students & intellectuals of town attended the program. Debate competition winners awarded by the guests.
