JAYA BACHCHAN DISCUSSING WHAT NOT TO DISCUSS, AND NOT DISCUSSING WHAT TO DISCUSS (!).
Bureau,Odishabarta
DELHI:It refers to unwelcome comments of film-personality turned politician Jaya Bachchan (SP) to use (or misuse) Rajya Sabha on 15.09.2020 for unnecessary blaming though without naming another film-personality and member of Lok Sabha Ravi Kishan (BJP) for what Ravi Kishan (BJP) never said. Jaya Bachchan should have courage to name of the person who called Indian film-industry a gutter and for those for whom she used irresponsible and insulting comments like Hindi proverb – Jis thali mein khate hein usi mein chhed karte hein.
But Jaya Bachchan who is known for her aggressive approach in favour of victims in Rajya Sabha with natural emotions at times with tears in her eyes, had somehow no courage to utter even a single word on highly mysterious deaths of Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput. She failed to raise voice against high-handedness of Shiv Sena controlled Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) against young film-actress Kangna Ranaut whose office-building was broken in totally illegal manner only for revenge.
Disha Salian, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kangna Ranaut all belonged to same film-industry for which Jaya Bachchan was speaking like a spokesperson in Rajya Sabha on 15.09.2020. Apart from being a self-appointed spokesperson of Indian film-industry, she as a social activist had also duty to raise voice of mercilessly beating of retired navy officer Madan Sharma by Shiv Sena workers in Mumbai with Mumbai Police giving instant bail to culprits. It is noteworthy heavyweights of Bollywood by and large have no courage to speak against wrong-doings of Shiv Sena controlled institutions and its workers.
