Jarada Police detected Maruti Car; Seized 400 litres I/D Liquor

BERHAMPUR:In the intervening night of Friday, IIC,jarada Police intercepted a suspiciously moving of one Maruti-800 Car bearing no AP-31-F- 9400 while on night patrol duty and found 05 nos of gunny bags containing 2000 packet of poly pouch total 400 litres I/D liquor from the vehicle which was being transported to Andhra Pradesh.
Police have seized the vehicle along with the liquor. Three persons initially they have been detained for questioning and subsequently arrested and forwarded to court.
In this connection Jarada PS case no- 72/2021 U/s 272/273/34 IPC/52(a) Odisha Excise Act registered and the investigation is underway into the incident examine the chance of the involvement of any racket acting behind the screen, said Police
