Paralakhemundi:Jagapati Karjee is in figure since last few days in local Media.He left 40 years back due to dire poverty to Arunchal Pradesh with other 3 friends.
He was working in a company for his own earning. But due to lock down of that company Jagapati had to stay at a forest at zero market of lower Subansini district. Whereas other 3 friends returned but he has to strand.
A local teacher named Ruguama traced him & realized his sufferings where he was collecting firewood for fuel from nearby forest for survival. Noticing his drastic situation that teacher arranged him daily feeding.
His whereabouts noticed by few TV channels after that former SP of Gajapati Sarah Sharma taken step to contact her alumni friends of JNU & Gajapati district administration. Ultimately L.Subansini district administration rejoined to take care Jagapati later on with the coordination of Gajapati district administration.
Belongs to Abasing of Talmunda panchayat of Rayagada block of Gajapati.The original name of Jagapati is Daya Bhuyan s/o Late Magta Bhuyan is now successfully taken all assistance from Gajapati district administration where Collector Anupam Saha and DLO regularly keeping contact with L.Subansini district administration. Now DLO Gajapati with Jagapati’s nephew Mukunda Bhuyan left for Arunachal Pradesh.
They will reach at Silapur of Assam by flight & from there they will reach L.Subansini district by road & with all formalities with that district administration, they will pick up him to Gajapati on 26th August 2020.Jagapati’s brother Suku Bhuyan and villagers of Abarsing are anxious to see him after long years and accomplished Gajapati administration’s wholehearted efforts.
