On 5th & 6th continued 2 days Ganja seized where a minor boy involved. Along with him an woman & other 2 persons arrested.
On Thursday night while patrolling at Kamalapur check gate near Luhagudi IIC Sujit Kumar Nayak of Mohana & his Police staff cordoned a Mahindra vehicle (OR02BZ 6977) suspiciously.8 bags of Ganja contained 225kg & 500 gms whose cost will be 14 lakhs.In presence of Addl.Tehsildar,Ashis Kumar Pradhan those Ganja bags weighed.Madhab Behra(34) from Narayanpur of Dharakote of Ganjam district identified.
Subsequently at R.Udayagiri at Kuanpada near Kankata village 131kgs 700gms of Ganja seized by SI R.Udayagiri Police Station Mukesh Kumar Lakra and his team stopped a Scorpio vehicle (UP 65 B 2777)with 4 bags.3 persons arrested.Notably,among them a minor boy and an woman were there. All are from Bihar.
