International Women’s Day Organized at Paralakhemundi

Paralakhemndi:International Women’s Day organized by district administration and various organizations at Paralakhemundi.
At RSETI Hall Collector Gajapati Anupam Saha graced as Chief Guest. Among others DSWO Minati Kumari Dei, CDMO Dr.Pradip Kumar Patra, DPM of OLM Priyambada Bisoyi,State Secretary of Pujya Puja Sansad Maheswar Barada,Sudhir Kumar Sabat,Bhagyalaxmi Nayak and Mini Garg attended. Speakers lauded various efforts & contributions of women to build best recognition. On the eve of program 15 women honoured for their glorious feats.
At Paralakhemundi Municipality chaired by Ashok Kumar Rout, Executive Officer, where members from SHGs, Supervisers and Swachasathis attended. Honoured to Ch. Chandrakala for best commendable contributions.
At Bal Mukunda Kendra premises of Rasikaraj temple on behalf of Ananya Gajapati on the eve of Women’s Day women from 18 to 50 years showed their skill by bringing handmade Odia food like kakra and others;variour colourful paintings also drawn by women on floor. Winners of various competitions got prizes. On this occasion D Priyanka, international accoladed artist honored.
Among others Narsingha Gauda, Tanuja Satpathy, Bichitrananda Bebarta, Muralidhar Paricha & Nityananda Choudhry spoke on the occasion.
On behalf of Akankhya,a women organization and Utkal Hiteishini Samaj at evening Women’s Day observed.Kalyani Das, DSSO,Gajapati; Swagatika Das Addl.Tehsildar Paralakhemundi,Purnachandra Mahapatra graced as Chief Guest, Chief speaker and guest of honour respectively. Gourachandra Panda presided over the meeting.
Among others Dr.Kalyani Mishra, Asalata Panigrahi,Mina Kumari Tahal,Binod Chandra Jena spoke on the meeting. Speakers acknowledged on spirits of women from Vedic period till date for their dare devil venture.On this event various literatures and artists honored.
