INTER STATE AMBULANCES UNDER SCANNER IN BERHAMPUR

BERHAMPUR:On Thursday morning Golonthara Police have detained ten nos interstate ambulance for necessary verification. Police Cause way to verify the vehicle details, documents as well the patients details.

Ambulance drivers are being interrogated to ascertain the reason for entering Odisha.

Notably Golonthara PS is just adjacent to Odisha Andhra boarder. So as duty bound the Police have taken such positive action just to verify the details and to know the factual which is required.

According to IIC,Golonthara PS, Babulu Nayak,“ while we are on duty on NH and  we have seen around ten ambulance vehicles passing through our PS with other state registration like Tamilnadu,Banagaluru in suspect we detained those Ambulance and verifying the papers and detail about the patients transported”.

SDPO,Sadar JK Mohapatra said, matter has been informed to SP,Berhampur and Collector Ganjam.In receipt of the order we shall act accordingly.No case have been registered yet.
