Inter District Youth Parliament Debate Competition by NYK

Paralakhemundi-Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Gajapati conducted elocution competition with the theme “Be the voice of New India & find solutions & contribute to policy”.Among South Odisha districts like Ganjam,Rayagada, Koraput & Malkangiri about 40 participants presented their versions on Swacha Bharat,Skill India & other various scopes intervened to bring self reliance among emerging youths.Besides that digital India too an aspect to join grassroots on mainstream with minimum level of literacy for each family.Those contestants bisected their feelings where technology at par to reach at unreach.
While District Youth Coordinator of NYK Gajapati district,Bijay Kumar Mahapatra fecilitated;where Bimal Patrik Deputy Director of Eastern region of NYK inspired all the competitors.Among others Rita Bhagat, Regional Director of Eastern Region of NYK conveyed gratitude the organizers to boost such platforms for young brigades. Akhay Nipane & Harish Rupali DYCs of Ganjam & Malkangiri districts respectively graced to inspire their contestants.
Among the judges Dr. Ranjit Kumar Pati, Retd. Reader of SKCGCollege; Prof. Kamalsikha Mallick of English department of SKCGCollege;Bhagabat Padhi,Retd. Director of Adults Literacy;Dr. Susant Kumar Patnaik of English department of CUTM & Bibhuti Dalai Team Leader of Piramal Foundation evaluated the performances of competitors.
Among the competitors from Koraput Swadhin Swain & Roshni Sahu from Ganjam Monalisha Mishra & Birupakhya Sahu and from Malkangiri districts Subha Viswas & Prabhas Mandal stood first & second respectively. Those toppers of above districts qualified for state level debate competitions.
