INDIAN GOVERNMENT SHOULD APPROACH UN FOR CONTROL OF CORONA VIRUS THROUGH ANCIENT INDIAN TRADITIONS

Bureau,Odishabarta

Delhi:Present Indian government deserves all compliments for leading global community with its traditional Yoga adopted by other countries with UNO declaring 21st June every year as Vishwa Yoga Diwas. Even Islamic nations have since recognised importance of Yoga as stipulated in our ancient holy books.

It is time that Indian government may officially approach UNO for recommending several ancient traditions followed as religious rituals as important safeguard to effectively prevent spread of viral diseases. UNO should be informed that already global community has adopted Jain-tradition of covering mouth by cloth-piece when people have started using masks.

It should be suggested that greeting-style should be changed from hand-shake to folded hands which otherwise also a part of Yoga when rubbing hands create human-energy. Importance of Namaste (greeting by folded hands) is being analysed presently at global level too. Next is to suggest cremation to replace burial like has now been done by China so that germs in dead bodies may be killed rather than be generated more by burying dead bodies. Above all, vegetarianism needs to be popularised at global level because all new types of viruses including latest Corona or earlier Swine-flu are fatal-gifts of non-vegetarianism.
