India President Smt. Murmu Arrives In Bhubaneswar For 2-Day Visit To Odisha

Bhubaneswar: President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu arrived at Bhubaneswar airport on Sunday evening as scheduled for her visit to Odisha to attend some events.

The President landed at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here on a special flight of the Indian Air Force and headed to the Raj Bhawan where she will stay for the night.

The President was accorded a grand welcome at the airport. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Governor Raghubar Das welcomed the President while artists performed traditional tribal dance.

The Commissionerate Police ensured elaborate security and traffic arrangements for the smooth movement of the President’s carcade from the BPI airport to Raj Bhawan.

On Monday morning (Nov 27), the President is scheduled to leave for Paradip in an IAF helicopter to attend the Boita Bandana ceremony being organised by the Paradip Port.

At 8:30 am, the President’s carcade will leave the Raj Bhawan and go to the Biju Patnaik International Airport from where she will fly to Paradip in an IAF Chopper.

The President is scheduled to return to Bhubaneswar on Monday at 4:30 PM and is scheduled to leave for New Delhi from BPIA at 4:45 PM.
