Paralakhemundi-A great feat by Collector Gajapati Lingaraj Panda to rescue both father & daughter who are victims in an accident. On a casual tour to Mohana,after reviewed various development works at evening;while returning he found at a ghat turning near Chitingi ghat section, he found a PET of Nuagada SSD School;named Harekrushna Mahanta (45)& his daughter Subhasmita(14) fallen near ditch. Both belong to Mayurbhanj district.He immediately got down from his car & admitted both at nearest Chandragiri hospital. Treatment by Dr. Naresh Reddy, health staff Raghunath Behera, attendant Santosh Dandasena,staff nurse Rita could get relief both patients out of danger. For his great philanthropic zeal Chandragiri people admired Collector of Gajapati district Lingaraj Panda.
