Idol Stolen at Jagannath Temple One Arrested in Gajapati

Paralakhemundi-At Kashinagar of Gajapati district in a Jagannath temple the priest performed all his rituals & locked the temple after noon hours. Meanwhile one person broken the lock of the temple & stolen 8 mixed metals idol( otherwise called ‘Astadhatu murty’ in Odia) & waited for bus at forest junction. Meanwhile 2 associates of the temple found that idol in his bag & immediately informed police. Kashinagar Police dragged from that person’s bag & arrested him. A case 131/23 registered at Kashinagar police station. Tomorrow that convict will be forwarded to court said SI Mamata Panda.
