Husband alleges murder of wife due to severe beatings by hooligans
Badal Tah, Odishabarta,Rayagada, 03-06-2024 : Suber Naik, the husband of the deceased woman named Dinamani Naik, filed a complaint of beating to death of his wife belonging to Moiliguda village under Tikiri Police Station in Kashipur block of Rayagada district.
Last Sunday night, when Suber Naik returned from work, his wife sat on the porch of the house. During this time, Dhanamani Naik, Bhabi Naik, Premika Naik, Sonali Naik, Jeevan Naik, Yudhisthir Naik, Buddhadeb Naik of the village quarreled with his wife. When his wife protested they all beat her mercilessly. She fell down unconscious. The family members of Dinamani Naik immediately rushed her to Utkal Hospital at Ushapada where the doctor declared her dead. Suber Naik complained about this at Tikiri police station. Immediately after receiving this information, Tikiri police station IIC Bishwabandini Bagh went to the spot and started the investigation and brought all the criminals involved in this crime to Tikiri police station and detained them. IIC sent the body to Kashipur Community Health Centre and handed over the body to the family members after the autopsy.
