HIghway Dacoits’nab by G.Nuagaon Police in Berhampur City.

Berhampur:In the intervening night of Wednesday @ 1.45 A.M the some noted persons were assembled at Shakti Nagar Extension of Omm Vihar near Deepak Residency under Gosaninuagaon Police Station area armed with the weapons and making preparation to commit dacoity on the Highway in the dead hours of night.
Getting the information,by the instruction from Pinak Mishra,SP,Berhampur SI Jayanath Pradhan and other Police Staff of Gosaninuagaon PS conducted raid under the direct supervision of Vishnu Pati,SDPO and apprehended the persons with incriminating articles.
The accused persons were indetified as; Cheru Gouda @ ShyamaSundar Gouda (26 yrs)Chiku @ Chinmaya Das (20 yrs) ,Munda @ KaliaSethy (22 yrs),Ajay Maharana (25 yrs) Pala @ Amar Pala (25 yrs) and Pila Kalu @ Santanu Kumar Choudhury (27 yrs).
According to IIC,Summet Soren,Cheru Gouda was previously involved in 15 criminal cases of different Police stations of Berhampur, Amara Pala is involved in four criminal cases. Other arrested persons are involved in one case each.
Police have recovered Three number of Swords.One iron rod,Three numbers of live Hand Bombs.2 number of Motor cycles and 2 number of Mobile Phones.They are being forwarded to the court today. Investigation of the case is in progress.
