HIGH PROFILE STONE MAFIAS’ ACTIVE IN KALAHANDI

MATTER OF HIGH EXPLOSSIVE BLASTING AT LANDIMUNDI DANGAR IS IN COLD STORAGE
KALAHANDI: As alleged in different locality, illegal stone and sand quarry are being operated in almost Tahasil areas under Dharamgarh Sub Division of Kalahandi. Sand from the bed of Hati River and Tel River are lifting illegally without prior permission of the competent authority. The sand mafias’ are lifting by machineries in the road side of the Tel River Bridge and Hati River Bridge openly.
In last month the district administration has taken steps to regularize the stone and sand quarries throughout the district. Basing on that order some stone quarries like Kalopala stone quarry under Junagarh Tahasil and Baijalpur stone crusher were sealed by the concern Tahasildars.
On the other hand the matter regarding high explosive at the Landimundi hill of Motualguda village under Jaipatna Tahasil nearby the Kashibahal village is under the cold storage. No such appropriate action is taken by the authority though a high level explosive was done by the High Profile stone mafias on the Landimundi hill as a result the entire hill was broken with high sound and so that people were suffered.
In this regards a FIR was lodged by the villagers against the owner of the stone crusher Mukesh Agrawal and his partner at Jaipatna Police station vide FIR no. 272 dated 27.10.2019 under section 3 & 4 of explosive Act.
The enquiring Officer could able to know about the high level explosion at the spot. The people demanded before the Jaipatna Tahasildar during to take proper steps to safeguards the National property but as no action is taken by the Tahasil office as yet and the intellectuals apprehended the loss of National property without knowledge of the authority which run under their nose (!).
Like that it is also alleged in the public that illegal stone mining of stone is going on the Polka Danger having plot no. 1442, 1445, 1446 of Kashibahal mouza and Dokari Danger having plot no. 1353, 1354 & 1 of Kashibahal mouza under Koksara Tahasil. The north portion of Dokari Danger hill having plot no. 1353,1354 & 1 is became plane field after stone mining since long. The Koksara Tahasildar has taken step to verify the fact by sending Kashibahal Revenue Inspector to the spot. But it is seen that how the authority could not able to know about the stone lifting from there since long (?). The intellectuals apprehended the illegal stone lifting by the mafias. Still they demand for a high level enquiry about the facts of stone mining at those hills area.
