HIGH CLASS TRANSFER DRAMA IN TALCHER MUNICIPALITY

TALCHER:Above 60 employees of Talcher Municipality are deprived up to get their six months salary and the family members are very much tortured not to feed their older parents and children day to day proper diet and medicines is a shameless discussions being spread in the locality of Talcher. It is a mark of question that 16 employees including 4 tax collectors,01 Jamadar and 11 peons are being transferred to different NAC’s of Odisha State vide the letter no. HUD-MUN-ADM/0005- 2021/H&UD dtd. 11.01.2022. But sources said there no any provision in municipal law to transfer any peons to other districts is an unlawful activities and bad in law. Previously three tax collectors were transferred by the concerned dept. from Talcher Municipality to Hindol NAC unlawfully; the case is sub judice under honorable high court. Talcher municipal administration is being failed to pay six months salary to its employees, where as trying to discourage the 4th grade employees which is the first record in the history of Talcher Municipality as well as in municipal law. The employees those transferred and relieved from Talcher Municipality are thinking about their families and service with tears of eyes in the sake of god. After dissolution of council body, all the irregularities in sanitation, lightning, fogging, cleaning of drainage systems have been badly affected and no one is there to listen the common man’s voice. All the developmental works are not been conducted by the municipal authority since last two years.
