BERHAMPUR:It is said that Geeta Sethi w/o Satya Sethi of village Jagadalpur under kukudakhandi Block is affected by the fatal disease cancer. She had neither Ration card health card as a result she had spent lakhs of rupees for her treatment. The family were so poor that they are unable to get a mouthful of food twice a day. The family are unable to provide a single time food even to their children unless and until they go for labour work. Being hopeless the family were lamenting in enguishment. It came to the notice of the young reporter cum social worker Mr. Lalatendu Choudhury. He putforth the plight of the family before the ABDO, Kukudakhandi, Supply Inspector and other concerned authorities of district administration through electronics media and twitter to the authorities concerned. Thanks to Mr. Choudhury attempt the ABDO Tahsildar and Supply Inspector took the Matter Seriously and issued a Ration Card in favour of Geeta Sethi’s family as per the direction of District administration. The Hon’ble Collector Mr.Vijaya Amruta Kulange, Sub-Collector V.Keerthi Vasan, Berhampur and BeMC Commissioner Siddeshwar Baliram Bondar, here assured to provide better treatment free of cost to the diseased patients Geeta to shift her to the AHHCH, Cuttack by the help of the Chairman kukudakhandi P.S Mr. K.P Patro, Block BJD President Santosh Kumar Choudhury, ABDO B.K Pradhan, Supply Inspector P.K Rao and other volunters. The issurance of Ration Card by the administration within 8 hours is really praiseworth. Everyone says that every credit goes to Mr. Choudhury. The Reporter cum Animal lover Choudhury said that he had performed the duties of a SQUIRREL in his noble work. It is the District administration and other dignitaries concerned are praiseworthy who are the real heroes for whom a needy family is going get new life.
