Habitual Criminal arrested in Connection of Theft & Robbery

BERHAMPUR: On Friday evening two unknown persons committed robbery of cash one Lakh on the point of sword in between Patrapur-Kelua road under Jarada Police limit according to release from SP, Berhampur,
Basis on the complainant Rabi Behera of village Patrapur, Redika Street the police team have their search and arrested the duo.
During the investigation on dtd.05/03/21 one Rajesh Panda of Laxmi-Nrusingha lane no-11 under Badabazar PS was arrested and forwarded to court.
Today another accused D.Rajesh Kumar Patra@Prince Raj (28) S/o Lt D.Balaram Patra of Lochapada Behera Streeti,PS-Berhampur Sadar is arrested and being forwarded to court and cash of Rs. 20000/- recovered and seized from his possession.
Prior to this case accused Rajesh Patra is involved in 5 numbers of cases under Sadar, Bada Bazar and Town PS area.All these cases are theft and Robbery cases.
Notably, it’s a joint venture of IIC Bada Bazar, Jarada and Sadar Police. In this connection Jarada PS no-49/2021 U/s 394 IPC was registered.
