GOOGLE SEARCH PUTS OUT A WRONG RESULT, SNSMT OBJECTS

BHUBANESWAR:A Google search with ‘daughters day 2020’ puts out a result of 27 September 2020 daughters day in India. Smt. Nandini Satpathy Memorial Trust (SNSMT) has objected to this major Google search result error with Google CEO Sundar Pichai via a tweet from their official twitter handle @SNSMT . In year 2007, ‘9th of June’ had been marked as National Daughters Day of India (Nandini Diwas) *Nandini and *Diwas are two Sanskrit words which mean Daughter and Day respectively. The same had been done as a mark of respect for Legendary Smt. Nandini Satpathy. ‘9 June’ is her birth anniversary. In year 2007, the same had been launched by the then Governor of Orissa and it had been supported by the then Prime Minister of India. In support of their objection, Team SNSMT also put out two documents.
One undersigned by the then PM of India Dr. Manmohan Singh and the other by the now President of India Ramnath Kovind. Both constitutional heads of The Republic of India.
Several efforts of this reporter to fetch a reaction on this matter from Sundar Pichai or from other officers of Google India were not responded to.
