Gold Ornaments, Looted From Jewellery Shop In Berhampur

BERHAMPUR:Major loot in the Berhampur Silk City at Bada Bazar area a prime location of business hub. Miscreants have allegedly decamped with 400 gm of gold ornaments and lakhs in cash from a jewellery shop located at Bada Bazaar area on Wednesday late night.
As per information, the miscreants entered the Keshav jewellery shop through the iron ventilator of the jewellery shop.
During the investigation, the Bada Bazar police found that the CCTV cameras were damaged by the miscreants to lose the evidence into the burglars.
Soon getting the information Berhampur SP, Pinak Mishra rush to the spot in early morning with his scientific team for a ground zero investigation. From spot he instructed to the Officers to nab the looters gang to validate the crime to the public.
Bada Bazar IIC, Prashant Bhupati told, the miscreants will be nabbed very soon, we have formed an expert team by the instruction by SP,Berhampur.
In October, miscreants had decamped with 2.8 kg of gold ornaments from one Vinod Jewellers located at the same Bada Bazaar main road area by breaking open the shop’s iron chest.
