GM, ECoR INSPECTED KORAPUT RAYAGADA RAIL LINES

Rayagada, July 11: General Manager, East Coast Railway Parmeshwar Funkwal inspected Jagdalpur- Koraput (KK-II) line & inspected track, station yards, railway establishments, railway stations etc. He conducted window trailing inspection of the section to check the safety aspects of the track, curves, bridges, points & crossing etc.
Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra, Senior Officials from Head quarters, Construction Engineers from various departments and officers of Waltair accompanied GM, ECoR during his inspection.
General Manager inspected the maintenance works between Jarati and Maliguda. He focused on key safety aspects at Jarati and Malliguda station yards, Overhead Equipment (OHE), Points and crossings, Track circuits, Overall yard layout between Jarati- Maliguda and carried window trailing inspection from Jagdalpur to Koraput- Raygada.
Further Parmeswar Funkwal conducted window trailing inspection of Koraput – Rayagada line for safety checks of curves, bridges, tunnels, and signaling systems along the route. He also inspected railway siding at Kakiriguma, a major bridge between Lelligumma- Rauli and also conducted safety audit at Level Crossing Gate No. KR-15. During his inspection he interacted with the railway staff and gangmen to evaluate their skill levels and awareness regarding safety protocols and operational procedures.
