Koraput:A state-of-the-art park will be set up at the Chandan Pond Park in the heart of the city under the Koraput Municipal Council.  It will cost around Rs 1 crore.  The Koraput district commissioner today reviewed the cost plan.  Chandan visited the pond and instructed departmental officials.  It will be funded by the state government’s housing department.  As the only park within the city has not been upgraded for a long time, the current state-of-the-art park will have tree planting, flower gardens, food courts, ghat repair stone packing, and the main entrance to the park will be renovated.  Accompanying the district commissioner were DRDA project director Hemkant Sai, municipal council executive officer Swastik Jamadar and engineers.
