GANJAM POLICE IN ACTION MOODMISSION CLEAN CRIMINALFROM GANJAM & BERHAMPUR,I.G.P.

CHATRAPUR,( 04/05/25):A Group of Dreaded criminals arrested by the Aska Police in Ganjam district, Odisha.The Aska police, acting on a tip-off, catch a group of youths while they were involved in many murder attempts to murder robbery, extortion and dacoity.
Keeping in view, I.G.P. (S.R).Mr.Niti Sekhar,I.P.S ,Issues directives, to the IICS’ of All police station especially Berhampur and Ganjam Police districts in a determination “Mission Clean Criminals” start drive against crime and criminals. InGanjam a team was formed by Mr.Suvendu Kumar Patra, I.P.S, Superetendent Of Police, Ganjam comprising of SDPO ,Inspector, Aska ,Bhanja Nagar,Polosara,Seragadand others. To be hedge the anti social activities and to curb robbery, extortion and dacoity cases the team conducted massive raids at different hideouts to nab the culprits.
During such exercise about 18 nos hard core anti-social and property offenders were arrested.
The arrested persons have been linked to various villages and were apprehended under the following police stations:
Sheragada:Police:Prasanta Kumar Pradhan alias Rintu (25), Kuna Nahak alias Mania (26), Pinku Sahu (26), Ajit Gouda, Suraj Supriya Nayak alias Silu (19), and Sisira Kumar Panda (55).
Aska:police:Srikanta (23), Sankar Gouda, Pabana alias Siba Gouda, and Siba Prasad Jena (44).
Kotinada Police:Komal Lochan Gouda (26), Dharmaraj Jena (25), Subham Bhuyan (20), Jagannath Pradhan (23), and Pabitra Pradhan (29).
Polasara PoliceRakesh Dash (24).
Chamakhandi Police:Balakrushna Satpathy alias Pintu (32).
Bhanjanagar Police:Kanhu Gouda (32).
During the raids, police recovered a significant cache of illegal weapons and other materials:
Sheragada: 5 country-made pistols, 22 live rounds, 4 mobile phones.
Chamakhandi: 1 pistol, 1 revolver, 9 live rounds.,Polasara: 1 7mm pistol, 6 live rounds, 1 single-shot country-made pistol, 1 motorcycle, 1 mobile phone.
Kotinada: 4 country-made pistols, 16 live rounds, 4 empty cartridges.
Aska: 3 pistols, 12 live rounds, 4 mobile phones.Bhanjanagar: 1 country-made 7.62 mm gun, 1 magazine, 1 live round of 7.62 mm ammunition.
One officer told over phone that the team have recovered 17 nos Country made Pistol(Mouser),75 rounds live ammunitions, Swords, Knife, Kati (Axe), 2 nos of assault weapons made motorcycle Crank, 66 nos of Live Bombs, Bikes, many Mobile phones from their possession. The arrested antisocial are involved in many murder attempt to murder extortion and dacoity cases. This special drive will continue to eliminate criminal activities to ensure a crime Free society.
