Ganjam- Patapur Police Cracks a Bike-Lifter- Bikes Recovered

Ganjam,18/07/23:On 11.07.2023 aound  02.00 PM the complainant Housan Khan (31), S/o-Aga Khan, Vill-Dengaosta, PS-Pattapur, Dist-Ganjam reported at Pattapur PS that on the intervening night of 09/10.07.2023 some unknown  culprits committed theft of his Pulsar Motorcycle bearing Regd No-OD 07 W 9266 in front of his house.

During course of investigation, the Pattapur police apprehended the accused Amir Bhuyan, while he was loitering at Dengaosta market suspiciously.

On interrogation he confessed to have committed theft of the motor cycle and Pattapur police could able to seize the above  two stolen  motorcycles from his bike garage located at village Mandalasahi of Gajapati District.

While investigating a bike-theft case, Police could know that, a  mostly racket is there behind the bike theft cases in the district as well as neighbouring areas of Ganjam.

The police have Seized  One White, Red & black colour Baja Pulsar M/C bearing Regd. No-OD 07 W 9266, Engine No-JLYCJA71684 and Chassis No- MD2A55FYOJCAO7513 and   One black colour Yamaha R15 M/C without number plate bearing Engine No-MT20259 and Chassis No-ME1RG6718M0111055 from his possession.

The stolen motorcycle has been handed over to its rightful owner.

The Patapur police registered a case vide the case  U/S- 379 IPC and the accused has been arrested and forwarded to the court. Further investigation was on underway.
