GANJAM NATIVE ARRESTED WITH GANJA IN BERHAMPUR

Berhampur: On Wednesday at about 5.30 pm while conducting MV Checking at 1st Gate of Berhampur city by Sub Inspector B.R.Ray and staff of Badabazar PS, detained one Motor cycle rider namely Sibaram Bisoy, (22) of village Singipur under Patapur police limit carrying Ganja in a packed bag.
Police have seized in total 9kg 300 Gms of Ganja along with Hero Glamour OD 07J6779 has been seized from his possession on spot in presence of DSP J.K.Patnaik as G.O.
Sources said, “The mafia supplies large quantities of ganja to drug peddlers in the city. It procures ganja from Kandhamal and Gajapati district at low rates and sells it to drug users here at an exorbitant price,”.
The rapid action should continue and instruction have been circulated to all police stations under this DPO, while discussed with SP Berhampur Pinak Mishra
