Ganjam felicitates Padmasree Haladhar Nag

Berhampur: On the 1st Anniversary of Odia Fortnight LekhaniRa Agnisikha Lokakabi Padmashree Haladhar Nag felicitated at Berhampur ITI auditorium on the august presence of Ex. Deputy Speaker Sri Ram Chandra Panda, Advisor of Odia weekly Vishesh Kahabar Sri MA Kaharvela Swain and Media entrepreneur Sri Sanat Kumar Panda with Editor Sri Krushna Chandra Sahu.

Padmashree Haldhar Nag, the Koshali kabi has first time visited South Odisha after his reception of Padmashree award. Noted poet and poetess of Ganjam District were present to felicitate the people’s poet. Sri Susanta Mishra has introduced the Poet and achievements whereas Poet Susanta Kar has coordinated the poem reciting session of Kabi Haldar Nag.

On the second session Sri Sanat Kumar Panda, the chief Advisor of fortnight magazine presided the session with Editor Sri Krushna Chandra Sahu.The Chief Speaker of the occasion MA Kharvela Swain has marked the difficulties in the publication of newspaper and especially the weeklies, fortnightly and monthly magazines. The Chief Guest Ram Chandra Panda has stressed on the resumption of press freedom and self regulation of press in the competition of news catering. Most of the local talents are awarded by Guests on this occasion with cultural programmes presented by Angahar Nrutyayan directed by Guru Jayanta Acharya.
