GANJAM COLLECTOR DECIDED TO INSTALL CCTV CAMERAS AT ALL ENTRY POINTS

CHATRAPUR,(Ganjam): The Ganjam district administration today decided to install CCTV cameras and deploy Magistrates at all the entry points to the district.
On Thursday a meeting chaired by District Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange and attended by Siddhartha Shankar Swain, Project Director, DRDA, Sindhe Duttatraya Bhaushaeb, Sub Collector, ADM, Administration and ADM, General and other district administration officials at Collector Conference hall.
In this high level meeting it was decided to frisk vehicles entering the district. Driver and helpers of goods carrier will have to show their identity cards before entering the district.
As per the decision, in case any goods carrier was found carrying passengers, driver will be arrested and the vehicle will be seized and Magistrate,RTO Ganjam and Police personnel assigned to monitor.
No government staff will be allowed to leave district headquarters without prior permission. If any employee refuses to work when needed, the concerned person will be arrested under the epidemic laws.
