BERHAMPUR:In a move to protect COVID-19 patients and the public from the ill-effects of pollution, the Ganjam district administration impose ban on selling of fire crackers in Ganjam firecrackers market.
Though the Covid recovery figure is quite satisfactory in district the administration as well the Police administration by following the state instruction and confirm to ban on the sale of firecrackers in Berhampur city, and restrict their use for the upcoming Diwali festival in the wake of the crisis created by the corona virus pandemic.
Many of the senior citizens have pointed out to take strict action against the sale of firecrackers in the existing market area as district and polluting vehicles running without fitness to protect the health of Corona-virus-infected patients and the general public from the toxic smoke emitting from them.
“In order to protect the health of COVID-19 infected patients and general public due to poisonous smoke emanating from firecrackers, strict action shall be been taken to prohibit the sale of firecrackers in the district.
